Opened in 2008 in the center of Grozny giant mosque, named after Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov – the center of attraction of pilgrims. The interior is made of marble, everything sparkles with gold, the rooms inside are covered with long-pile carpets. The design of the 36 majestic bronze and gold chandeliers is based on Islamic symbols. Lunch in the city. Walking excursion to the Church named after Michael the Archangel. Excursion to the memorial complex of Glory named after Akhmat Kadyrov. The complex was opened on May 8, 2010 – on the eve of the 65th anniversary of the Victory and is dedicated to the history of the great Patriotic war. Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with guide at the lobby. Departure for an excursion to lake Kezenoy Am. Kezenoy Am is the largest natural body of water in the North Caucasus, located on the border with Dagestan, at the foot of the Andean ridge at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. On the way from from Grozny to lake Kezenoy Am we will pass through the ancient city of Hoi. Houses with stone arches, corrals, similar to the dungeons of castles, an ancient cemetery, where the stones are covered with signs of ancient alphabets and drawings-all this testifies to the ties of the region with the Greek missionaries and representatives of other civilizations. Lunch Visit to the second most important mosque, equally huge and beautiful, is the ‘Pride of Muslims’Mosque in the small town of Shali. Excursion to the ethnographic complex «Shira -Yurt», stylized as a medieval Chechen village. Dinner Back to Grozny. Overnight at hotel
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for an excursion to the Argun Gorge Argun Gorgeis one of the largest and longest gorges of the Caucasus territory. The land of ancient watchtowers and incredible untouched nature — all this picturesque Argun gorge. It is here today erected a state of the art ski resort Veduchi and here is the visiting card of Chechnya – the famous Ushkaloy Twin Towers. Having stretched almost 120 km from Khevsurety to the Black Mountains, the gorge stores over 600 monuments of history, culture, archeology, architecture and nature.
